NPP Reacts To Alan’s Resignation

 

The General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Justin Kodua Frimpong has called for calm among the rank and file of the party barely an hour after the resignation of Mr. Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, a former Presidential Candidate aspirant.

Mr. Kodua in a statement said the party has taken notice of the unfortunate decision of the former Minister of Trade and Industry to forfeit his membership and contest the 2024 presidential and parliamentary election as an Independent Presidential Candidate.

Mr Kyerematen announced his resignation from the party a while ago at the press encounter currently underway in Accra.

Alan first resigned from the NPP in 2008 after failing to lead the party into that year’s general

According to the NPP, the Party leadership is a statement, urged the rank and file of the great Party
to remain calm and await an official address by the Party to Mr. Kyerematen’s
resignation at 14:00 p.m. on Tuesday September 26, 2023, at the Party headquarters.

The leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has taken notice of the unfortunate
of Mr. Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, a long-standing member of the
decisionParty to forfeit his membership, and contest as an independent presidential candidate
in the 2024 general elections.

The Party leadership is by this medium, urging the rank and file of our great Party
to remain calm and await an official address by the Party to Mr. Kyerematen’s
resignation at 14:00 p.m. on Tuesday September 26, 2023, at the Party headquarters.
