NPP Primaries: Sene East candidate Tabu rejects ‘fraudulent’ election results

Sene East NPP Parliamentary Candidate Desmond Kwabena Tabu has rejected as “fraudulent” the results of the constituency’s parliamentary election outcome which Wondanyun Ibrahim won

Tabu is accusing the district electoral commission officer for rigging the election. Hon Tabu called for recounting of the cast ballot papers but the district electoral commissioner insisted while the ballot box is in the custody of Atebubu police command.

He said “my agent said the EC officer pushed him to leave the centre before sorting. The sorting was done without my agent then later called him to join the counting process with so many tactics and frustrations, they put pressure on him to sign”

He added that his agent has admitted making mistakes in the signing process due to pressure

“We will take all legitimate steps to reverse this tragedy of justice,” he added.

Meanwhile the Regional party executives elections committee said it’ll conduct investigations on Tabu’s allegations
