A top radio presenter with the Wontumi Communication group has alleged that an insider with running mate ambition in the New Patriotic Party, was responsible for leaking information to Okudzeto Ablakwa to tarnish the image Rev. Kusi Boateng and the National Cathedral project started by President Akufo-Addo.
Mr. Isaac Oteng on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 stated on the Ghana Nti show which airs on Wontumi Radio 95.9fm based in Accra that “Okudzeto spoke against the National Cathedral project but information we have is that it was leaked to him by an individual who also wants to be running mate of Bawumia. That person foresaw that the running mate position could be given to Rev Kusi Boateng so he had to destroy him through Okudzeto. Information was leaked to disgrace this government due to someone’s selfish interest and it brought shame to the President. The thing was an insider job.”
It will be recalled that Okudzeto Ablakwa poured scorn on the National Cathedral project and took a personal approach in tarnishing the image of Rev. Kusi Boateng- the Secretary to the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral.
