A communication team member of the New Patriotic Party, Raphael Osei Owusu, is optimistic his party is winning the 2024 general elections.
However, his hope is that the margin in 2024 would be same as the one recorded in 2016 where then candidate Akufo-Addo beat his main competitor with over one (1) million votes.
In 2016, Nana Akufo-Addo of the opposition NPP was elected President on his third attempt, defeating incumbent President John Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, Mr. Ralph Osei Owusu stated that “Whatever the NDC does, we will win this election. But I want the 2016 type of win so that nobody can’t come and complain about percentages.”
He confidently stated that despite the challenges, the NPP has what it takes to win the 2024 general elections, convincingly.
