NPP Elections: Ken Agyapong rounds up campaign tour, promises proper showdown in Nov 4

Member of Parliament for the Assin Central Constituency and Flag bearer Contestant for the New Patriotic Party, Ken Ohene Agyapong has rounded up his constituency campaigns.

The maverick politician began his showdown campaign after the Party’s super delegates conference to which he emerged second after the Vice President, Dr. Mahamud Bawumia.

The campaign began with a health walk in Accra and has rounded up in the Northern part of the country.

In a post on his official X(formerly Twitter) page, Mr. Ohene Agyapong mentioned that he has interacted with all 275 constituencies and is waiting for a showdown during the November 4 elections. He further advised delegates to refrain from votes selling and choose him to lead the party.

“I have visited all 275 constituencies in Ghana, I have interacted and shared my vision and plan for Ghana with them (Delegates). What remains now, is the showdown, which we have to give them on November 4th”, he said.

He also urged party members and delegates to have his Patriotism, Honesty and Discipline agenda in mind so they chose him as the Party’s flag bearer in order to lead the party to break the eight.

“I urge every delegate not to sell their vote for money, but rather to base their decision on what each candidate has done and can do for you.
Remember to vote for PHD (Patriotism, Honesty and Discipline)”, he added.

He that he speaks to Dr Mahamudu Bawumia through his campaign Manager Sammi Awuku, and they always trash out issues they believe did not go well during their campaign.

Kennedy Agyapong, who was speaking on Tamale-based Radio Tamale said the Vice President has admitted that he needs him regardless.

“Look, we all need each other. If I win I need the Vice President, and I need other contestants that is why I don’t want to trash the Vice President, but his people play dirty games and all those things.I always talk to him through Sammi Awuku. He will call and I will speak to him that this didn’t go well and if anything I will fight back and we do all these because I need him and he himself admits he needs Kennedy Agyapong,” he  added
