NPP Communicator Urges Party Members Not To Be Complacent
Ashanti Regional Director of Information for the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Kwasi Kyei, has appealed to all NPP supporters not to be complacent even though, victory is up for grabs by the ruling party in the December elections.
“The period between now and December 7 is very crucial because the NDC which is full of treachery and mischief will continuously try to hatch diabolical schemes that can divide the NPP so they can exploit the situation. We have to be extra vigilant so that nothing is done to divide our ranks or break our front.” Dr Kyei told wontumionline.com in an interview in Kumasi.
He appealed to all supporters of the ruling party to go and vote in their numbers to give the ruling party an easy ride to victory.
“A resounding victory can hold in check any attempt by the NDC to resort to litigation as a face saving measure that an embarrassing defeat will naturally impose on them. Ideally, there should be no obstacle in the way of Nana Addo as he strategically implements his carefully thought out programme to sustain the momentum of transforming the Ghanaian economy .”
The popular NPP communication expert indicated that the larger percentage of Ghanaians who have bought into the slogan, “ Four more years for Nana.” and continuously chant it as a war cry is a clear indication that “a new day” has indeed dawned on Ghanaians .
He explained further that the true meaning of, “a new day” is that, “ a larger section of Ghanaians have come to accept that sustainable development is indeed a process and so therefore, if Nana Addo is allowed to continue his stewardship for another four years, Ghana’s advancement will be given a much quicker acceleration as it tries to catch up with the advanced countries.”
Dr Kyei who says he is personally overwhelmed by the achievements of Nana Addo .
“Even though I am a true blue NPP member, in my wildest dream, I never thought my party under Nana Addo could achieve so much in a relative short period.This is a clear indication that the NPP holds firmly the key to Ghana’s massive development.” He said
He continued, “we are the envy of our opponents the NDC, who have little so show despite the long period that they have been in power, starting from the PNDC era up to the John Mahama’s rule.”
He said the continuous bashing of the President by John Mahama gives ample proof that the former President is full of envy of his successor.
“Sub-consciously, John Mahama knows that his fall far below that of the NPP’s”. He teased.
According to Dr Kyei, the declaration by John Mahama that the free SHS idea could only be implemented after 20 years drives home the point that he is 20 years behind Nana Addo’s thought process.
”Between the NPP and NDC is a 20 years gap and this is a clear indication that the NPP will rule continuously for 20 years and even beyond.” He noted.
