Noise Maker With Temperament Issues- Renowned Lawyer Gives Reasons Kissi Agyebeng Has Failed As Special Prosecutor

A noise maker with temperament issues is bound to fail as Special Prosecutor, lawyer Maurice Ampaw has assigned as reasons for Kissi Agyebeng’s struggles in office.

Maurice Ampaw, a senior in the practice of law to Kissi Agyebeng stated on Wontumi TV that the way his junior handles his office, makes him cringe and wonder if he knows that anti-corruption agencies, don’t make excessive noise in the media.

The Chief Justice, Gertrude Torkornoo, has received a petition forwarded by President Akufo-Addo to have Kissi Agyebeng removed from office as Special Prosecutor.

The petition was presented to the president by Martin Amidu, a former Special Prosecutor and was dated April 30, 2024.

Procurement irregularities surrounding the acquisition of vehicles for the OSP were among some of the allegations cited by the former OSP.

Sharing an opinion on the matter, Kissi Agyebeng “has temparent problems, he doesn’t respect because he stayed in London and he has cash.”

“He did his law in London so he doesn’t respect. He doesn’t know how to handle the office because the office of Special Prosecutor has to operate in silent”, he said.

He urged the OSP to get a spokesperson and stop meddling in the affairs of the media since it will rather create enemies for him than help him perform his duties.
