The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Oti Region has commenced its polling station elections, running from Sunday, May 10 to Friday, May 16, 2026, with Nkwanta South Constituency recording a smooth second day of exercises.
The Nkwanta South Constituency Secretary of the NPP, Mr. Felix Owusu Gyimah, told Wontumi TV that the process has so far been successful, crediting the outcome to the strict application of protocols and guidelines set by the party to ensure that members freely elect candidates of their choice at the grassroots level.
“This is a great task unto us to stay committed and work hard for the party to win the 2028 election with Dr Bawumia and also get an NPP parliamentary representative for the first time in the constituency”

On the second day of the exercise in Nkwanta South, polling station elections took place at the Nsana Zongo Electoral Area, where approximately eight (8) polling stations conducted the process without incident.

Current, former, and aspiring constituency executives were present on the ground alongside the secretary, underscoring the significance the party attaches to the exercise.
Mr. Owusu Gyimah used the occasion to appeal to all party members in the constituency to maintain their dedication not only through the polling station elections but in the months and years that follow as Day Two of the polling station elections in Nkwanta South ended successfully.
