The National Health InsuranceAuthority (NHIA) is pleased to announce the release of anadditional GHC151 million to healthcare providers across thecountry. This disbursement is part of our ongoing commitmentto ensure the sustainability and efficiency of healthcare deliveryunder the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
This funding is aimed at settling outstanding claims of up toMarch 2024 for the higher tier healthcare providers and April2024 for majority of our clients at the lower tier facilities.
The NHIA recognizes the critical role that healthcare providersplay in the success of the NHIS and is dedicated to maintaininga robust partnership with facilities.
