New District Brim South Developing Rapidly- Hon Asare Danso
For about a year that the Brim South District was created by President Akufo-Addo, the area has seen development rapidly.
The DCE for the area, Hon. Asare Danso has showcased some of the developmental projects that have helped the area to grow at a fast rate.
In an interview on Kumasi-based Wontumi Radio/TV’s Election 2020 political programme, Hon. Danso showed some of the projects like;
Construction of Brim South District Assembly.
Construction of Electoral Commission Office at Akim-Sweduru.
Construction of Assembly Hall at Akim-Sweduru Senior High School.
Construction of ongoing 2-unit classroom block at Akim-Sweduru Senior High School.
Construction of Girls Dormitory at Akim-Sweduru Senior High School.
Construction of 6- Unit classroom block at Sweduru Methodist.
Construction of 3-Unit classroom block at Adiembra.
Construction of Library/conference facility at Awissa.
Construction of 2- unit Kindergarten block at Mensakrom and Aboabo-Parkso.
On Security, some of the projects the DCE and the government have built in the area are;
Construction of Police post at Adussa and Awissa-Asawase.
Construction of Police bungalow at Awissa-Asawase.
Economic Development
Construction of 42- Unit rural market at Sweduru town.
Construction 16- Unit lockable stores at Sweduru.
Construction of 10 seater water closet at Adiembra.
Construction of mechanized borehole at Akim-Sweduru, Beposo and Awissa.
Some of the developmental projects on health are;
Construction of CHP compound at Antutumerem.
