Needless! Don’t Seek To Inflame Passions At Ejura- Chartered Accountant Blast John Mahama (Video)
CO Mintah

Former President John Mahama has been warned to stop inflaming passions and taking political advantage over the unfortunate incident that occurred at Ejura few days ago.

Mr. C.O Mintah, a Chartered Accountant and Lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) described Mr. Mahama as a poor leader following rumors that he had visited Ejura to commiserate with families of the victims.

“Why should he do that by coming to Ejura? Mahama has shown poor leadership. Is he saying all the youth at Ejura are NDC?” he quizzed.

Speaking on Wontumi TV’s Talk Ghana Show, Mr. C.O Mintah continued that the Ejura incident doesn’t revolve around Mr. Mahama or the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and for that reason, anything they do would be viewed as trying to score “cheap political points”.

He also rubbished a move by the NDC to lead a protest to the Jubilee House to petition the President.

According to Mr. C.O Mintah, the move is aimed at adding a political twist to the story.

“It is needless for them to march to Jubilee House. Was it the issue connected to NDC? It was an issue connected to Ejura”, he said.

Macho Kaaka died after he was allegedly beaten to a pulp by some unknown persons in the early hours of Saturday, June 26, 2021, in front of his house.

The MCE in an interview on Wontumi TV’s Talk Ghana Show admitted knowing Kaaka but denied having any rift with him leading to his death.

He used the platform to warn campaigners of the #FixTheCountry to stop tagging Kaaka as their member since he has never supported them.
