NDC Thugs Invade Kumasi To Create Unnecessary Tension – PPP Comm. Officer.
The communication officer for the Progressive People’s Party (PPP),in the Ashanti Region, Richard Boadu, has disclosed that some thugs from the leading opposition party, NDC, have sneaked into the Kumasi Metropolis with an intention of creating unnecessary tension and chaos ahead of the December elections.
He said that he is not surprised about the NDC thugs motive because the largest opposition party is noted for masterminding a number of violent acts in the country.
Mr Boadu who appeared disturbed by the reports urged the security agencies to be alert and foil any such attempts that can pose danger to the security of the Metropolis and by extension, disturb the peace of the Region.
According to him the John Mahama’s factor in the December election is creating all these problems and wondered why the former President said some time ago that “governing a country needs wisdom and not just talking.”
He argued that with John Mahama’s own admission that it takes wisdom to rule a country, then he does not have any business being in the Presidential race.
Speaking on Wontumi TV and Radio in Kumasi, Mr. Buadu said that John Dramani Mahama is often accused of being indecisive and has lost his credibility.
He added that, “if we talk about corruption John Mahama and the NDC come first because they have changed their corruption plans from the “Big city” to the “Big push.”
Referring to Ghana’s gradual process of economic recovery, the PPP regional spokesperson noted that the country’s contemporary achievements and developments can be traced to the John Agyekum Kufuor’s era.
Former President Kufuor’s achievements have constituted a foundation for Nana Addo to continue after winning the elections in 2016.
He said that John Dramani Mahama is still suffering from the shock he received in 2016 when he lost miserably to Nana Addo.
According to Mr. Boadu, he doesn’t have any hatred for John Mahama or the NDC as a party but he cares so much about the development of the country.
“All I wants is a peaceful election 2020 and the events preceding it or after it so that we would not deviate from the path of recovery and the restoration of our pride as the Black Star of Africa .” He said.
