NDC Manifesto  Suffers Stillbirth- Francis Adomako

The Ashanti Regional Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has slammed the NDC for its lack of preparation for the 2020 elections.

In a release copied to the Ghanaian Observer newspaper, Mr Francis Adomako questions the party’s seriousness as the largest opposition to making its policies clear to the populace.

He wondered why the NDC has failed to outdoor its manifesto the Ghanaian people almost three months to elections.

Mr Adomako says for the NDC to postpone the release of its manifesto for three consecutive times only showed that it is ill prepared for the 2020 polls.

The Ghanaian Observer newspaper publishes in full the statement from the regional organizer.

NDC MANIFESTO AT STILLBIRTH —FRANCIS ADOMAKO QUIZZES.

Manifesto is a public declaration of aims and policy, especially one issued by a political party or candidate before elections.

It is therefore obvious that, any serious political party who seeks to govern a nation pay strict attention to it’s manifesto.

Sad enough, in the case of the NDC, they are acting contrary, Mr Adomako noted.

It would be recalled, on the 23rd of October 2019, the NDC outdoored it’s committee in charge of drafting the party’s manifesto ahead of the December 7th general elections.

Their first failure following this outdoor, was a move by the committee to solicit the views of Ghanaians to help them compile their manifesto.

That move contradicted the NDC’s usual claims on various media platforms as knowing the needs of Ghanaians.

After the outdoor of the committee, the NDC have set different dates for the launch of their manifesto even before the NPP set theirs, and subsequently launched it on the 22nd of August, 2020.

The recent date set by the NDC after the NPP outdoored it’s manifesto was 31st of August 2020.

To the surprise of many Ghanaians, with three days to the launch, the NDC have once again, postponed their manifesto again with less than four months to general elections.

Are they engaging in this move because they are bereft of ideas? Have they been dazzled by the contents of the NPP’s manifesto?

Are their usual rants on various media platforms as the best alternative to the NPP government just by mouth?

Following the lackadaisical moves by the NDC in putting out their manifesto, it is clear they have nothing good to offer Ghanaians and must be rejected once again, come December 7th.

The alternative is indeed empty and can’t be trusted!

Signed:
Francis Adomako.
