In a highly anticipated New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primary, Benjamin Munyum Nador has won the contest in the Nkwanta North Constituency.
The results, which was announced on Saturday, saw Ben Nador securing a significant lead over his other competitors.
Out of the three candidates vying for the NPP ticket in Nkwanta North, Benjamin Munyum Nador emerged as the frontrunner with an impressive 363 votes.
He was followed by Joseph Kwaku Nayan, a deputy CEO for minerals commission with 176 votes and Lawyer Borido with 118 votes.
In a victory speech to supporters , Ben Nador Parliamentary Candidate-elect said it was time “irrespective of political Ideas, to unite, join hands and stand shoulder to shoulder to defeat the NDC’s Oti Bless.”
“The delegates of Nkwanta North through the results have made it loud and clear that the two (2) candidates, Nayan and Lawyer, must work together with me especially in the constituency for NPP’s victory and the development of Nkwanta North.”
These primary election results indicate a significant milestone in the NPP’s selection process, as the winners will now represent their respective constituencies in the upcoming general election.
The parliamentary primaries have provided a clear mandate for these candidates to showcase their policies and strategies to the constituents in the months leading up to the election.
