A political researcher and a staunch member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Thomas Kusi Boafo, has warned the party about how some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have infiltrated their camp just to sow seeds of discord.
Mr. Boafo in an interview on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, stated that NDC are trying to use their infiltration strategy to get involved in the selection process of Ministers and MMDCEs to serve in the second term of President Akufo-Addo.
He therefore called on the party to watch the development closely since it could lead to the party making a mistake of even electing a staunch member of the NDC to occupy a vital position.
“NDC members are using ways to get involved in the selection process of appointees. They have become loud in rejecting MPs or DCEs that have come up… we (NPP) could commit an error in electing a person from NDC to head us if care is not taken”, he forewarned.
He used the same forum to call on government to reject any appointee that has the tendency to give President Akufo-Addo’s administration a bad name.
He advised that any bad decision could have a serious calamity on the government and must be avoided.
