The Mayor of Kumasi, Mr. Sam Pyne, has slammed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for being a political party that does not love or respect Northerners.
Speaking on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, the mayor of Kumasi stated that in the past, the NDC wrongfully accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of disliking Northerners.
“In the past they blame the NPP for not loving Northerners but they rather don’t love them. They hate Northerners and Bawumia is the most vilified Northerner in Ghana”, he said.
Part of Mr. Sam Pyne’s sentiment stems from the internal wrangling that has hit the NDC over their leadership in Parliament.
The party’s leader in Parliament, a Northerner, has been treated with disdain following his sack.
