National Young Achievers Honor Kwabena Frimpong As Inspirational Leader

Mr Kwabena Frimpong, youth activist receiving the Young Achiever’s Award as inspirational leader from Hon Francis Addai Nimoh, former MP for Mampong.

One of the famous youth icons in Ashanti, Mr Kwabena Frimpong last weekend was honored by organizers of the National Young Achievers Awards as an inspirational leader.

In a citation read before the physical presentation of a plaque to Mr Frimpong, the group described the youth icon as someone whose life is committed to seeing the wellbeing of his folks.

They also described Mr Frimpong as someone who had carved a niche for himself as spearheading the development of the youth by occupying influential positions and capacities for the same.

The group noted that awarding such a youth development agent was easy because of the passion he exudes in life.

The group added that Mr Frimpong has for almost a decade and half dedicated himself to issues bothering the youth and their development.

They noted that he had also availed himself to lead efforts aimed at youth development and empowerment.

The statement stressed that the youth icon had made himself a servant to Asanteman and had been honoring the Kingdom with his dedication and commitment to the development of the youth.

Touring almost all regions of the country on youth issues, officials of the National Young Achievers Award group said Mr Frimpong was like a light shining brightest on the youth.

ACCEPTANCE:

Receiving the award, Mr Frimpong thanked the group for the honor bestowed on him and others who had also won in the categories nominated.

This recognition, the youth activist posited would spur him on to give off his best in the area he has chosen to concentrate his passion.

He called on the government to continue to grow the economy so that it can become an enlarged one which would be ready to offer opportunities for jobs and skills training for the youth.

‘’It is true that this country is for the youth but I ask that it not become only a cliché but something that the government is committed to ensuring it works right in all its sectors so as to bequeath the same to the youth in future’’, Mr Frimpong noted.
