Nana Ama McBrown Saved My UK Show With £2,000 At The Last Minute — Dr Likee

Popular Ghanaian actor and comedian, Dr Likee has expressed profound gratitude to actress and media personality Nana Ama McBrown for allegedly coming to his rescue during a challenging moment ahead of one of his shows in the United Kingdom.

According to Dr Likee, the event nearly suffered a major setback after a sound engineer reportedly demanded an unexpected £2,000 payment just 30 minutes before the show was scheduled to begin.

Speaking in an interview with ZionFelix on June 21, 2026, Dr Likee recounted the tense situation and praised McBrown for stepping in when all hope seemed lost.

“It was left with like 30 minutes for the show to begin and we were told that the man who went to check the sound said if we don’t pay £2000, he won’t do it,” he said.

He continued, “According to him, that’s what their law says. Where were we supposed to get that amount of money from at the last minute?”

Dr Likee disclosed that when the team appeared to be stranded, Nana Ama McBrown unexpectedly came to their aid by securing the funds needed to keep the show on track.

The actor noted that he remains grateful to McBrown for her support, describing her intervention as a gesture he will never forget.

“God bless Nama Ama McBrown. Wherever I find myself, I would always say God bless her kind heart. I was surprised how she was able to pull the money through. I can’t repay her, but all I can say is God bless her,” he added.
