Nana Ama Ampomah Mourns With Uncle Ato On Wife’s Passing.

Nana Ama Ampomah, the Ashanti Regional Women’s Organizer of the New Patriotic last Saturday, the 28th of January, 2023 joined the family of popular gospel musician, Reverend Alexander ATO Bruce-Ghartey (UNCLE ATO) to mourn the passing of the wife, the late Mrs Amen Ama Bruce-Ghartey who died at age 48.

Joining the burial service which was held at the Salvation Army Church at Community Two, Tema early in the morning, the NPP women’s organizer commiserated with the family of the deceased and consoled Uncle Ato on the loss of the wife.

Sitting through the service for hours, the NPP regional executive accompanied by some officers from the wing also visited the burial site at Tema Community 9 with the two families where their loved one was finally laid to rest.

An emotional Uncle Ato found consolation in the arms of his sister, Nana Ama Ampomah whose words was that God knows best why such a tragedy should happen.

BURIAL:

Almost like a church-like service, the final funeral ceremony came off Saturday afternoon with scores of people including high profile clergymen passing through from the Church of Pentecost where Uncle Ato works as Pastor.

Fully representing the New Patriotic Party, Nana Ama Ampomah sat through proceedings and mourned with the two families.

Gospel musicians including friends and contemporaries of Uncle Ato showed up and consoled their friend and partner.

Also present were scores of persons from the public including residents of the Tema Community who were seen seated through the ceremony just to show sympathy to their favourite gospel minister.

COMFORTING WORDS:

Speaking to this reporter, the NPP women’s organiser said, ‘Uncle Ato has been a long time friend and brother’.

Having fellowshipped at the Church of Pentecost together before, Madam Ampomah revealed that they have kept a close relationship despite her being an active member of the Moments of Glory Prayer Army (MOGPA) now.

‘’I got closely related to Uncle Ato through Elder Kwasi Mireku, my father and an Elder of the Church of Pentecost and I have since shared ties with them and it is so sad seeing the wife of Uncle Ato dead and being buried today but I know God knows best’’, Nana Ama Ampomah noted.
