The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has declared his readiness in transforming the nation when he is voted into power.
According to him, he is a visionary leader who can generate “new ideas to confront the economic problems facing the nation”
Speaking at the manifesto launch of the party held in Takoradi on Sunday, he described himself as a problem solving leader.
“I am a problem solving leader. I will address all the fundamental problems in Ghana. I am blessed with a fortitude of character and God has set me apart from other candidates. My sole responsibility is to transform the country.
“I am your plan to your dream of prosperity. I am capable of managing the nation’s resources for the benefit of the people” he asserted.
He also said he would introduce the flat tax system through his digitalization policy.
“I will boaden the tax payment and reform the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA). This will be the first change in the tax system since independence. There will be no manual filing of taxes” he added.
