Former CEO of Public Sector Reforms, Thomas Kusi Boafo, has reacted to an agenda to create disaffection between him and the national executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) by spreading a doctored tape to sabotage him.
The respected economist admitted on Wontumi Radio and TV that the audio currently being circulated contains his voice but has been heavily doctored, to fit an agenda by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Mr. Kusi Boafo attributed the doctoring of the tape to Mugabe Maase, a pro NDC journalist.
He therefore wondered the motive behind the sudden circulation of the doctored tape at the time he was vying to become new Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) boss.
According to him, he made some of the comment on the tape at a time when the NPP was in opposition and facing internal wrangling.
