MTN To Give Away 25 Cars In Three Months Promo.

NOEL KOJO GANSON, Manager-MTN Business says the telecommunication outfit from this month of August to October will be giving away 25 brand new KIA Sonata cars to its customers and subscribers for showing commitment to the brand for 25 years.

The special cars, the MTN official noted, would be made available to MTN subscribers who are on the digital platforms such as AYOBA and MY MTN applications.

Addressing the media at a virtual meeting Tuesday morning, Mr Ganson intimated that every customer in each of the 16 regions of the country has the potential of winning one of the 25 cars available in the 25th anniversary promotion.

He noted that subscribers of the MTN digital platform would need to register to participate in the draw or promotion by using *156# and choosing option 5 to access the points build up section.

DETAILS:
The MTN Business Manager noted that participants would have to attain higher thresholds to enable any of them to attain the first prize winner status and carry home the car at stake.

He noted that the system has been set in such a way that it takes cognizance of activities participants may have engaged in the last three months either by purchases of data or other transactions.

However, he intimated that the amount one buys on the system would show the points or percentages one builds up, adding that 100 cedi purchase of data or MoMo gives the opportunity for one to earn minimum points with those buying 5, 000 worth of data or transacting same on MoMo having the highest number of points.

He urged every customer or subscriber of MTN to participate in the promotion since it costs nothing to register to be on, adding from 5 pesewas one could purchase something to earn points.

TRANSPARENCY:
Hinting on the internal mechanisms to ensure transparency, Mr Ganson said the applications have ways every subscriber can monitor his or her purchases and points built on the promotion.

He intimated that one can see how well or bad he or she is doing anytime they enter into the digital space.

As a way to also checkmate the system, KPMG, a reputable data and auditing firm has been put in charge to scrutinize the system to ensure the person who got the greater threshold is declared winner at the end of every month.

Mr Ganson said 9 persons would win the cars without recourse to where they are based but 16 persons would win from the 16 regions so as to ensure that in every region there is a subscriber who won at the end of the promotion which is expected to end on October 31st.
