MTN Hints Of Legacy Project As Part Of 25 Years Celebration

The General Manager, MTN Northern Sector, Nii Adotey Mingle has hinted that the African multinational telecommunications giant, MTN would set up a Legacy Project.

He said MTN has set up an amount of US Dollars 25 million for the project to coincide with the 25 years of MTN’s operation in Ghana.

Nii Adotey Mingle gave the notice today, 12/05/21 during a brief ceremony where MTN donated food items to the Ashanti Regional Chief Imam at the Central Mosque in Kumasi.

“Details of the Legacy Project would be given at the appropriate time,” he noted.

The items included 10 bags of rice, 10 cartons of vegetable oil, 11 packs of mineral water, 13 packs of soft drinks, a ram and some airtime.

Nii Adotey Mingle said MTN has a long and good relationship with Muslims hence the donation as they break their monthly fast.

He noted that similar donations are being done in Takoradi and Tamale.

Ustaz Ahmed Seidu, Executive Secretary of the Ashanti Regional Chief Imam who received the food items was full of praise for MTN and asked for God’s blessings in their daily operations.
