The National Coordinator for the Monitoring and Evaluation Secretariat(MES) at the office of the President, has successfully ended her week-long tour of the Ashanti Region to inspect ongoing and completed government projects.
Some of the projects she inspected were the Kumasi International Airport, Sawua Regional Hospital, Afari Military Hospital, Tepa Government Hospital, Bekwai Government Hospital, Kasapreko Company Ltd, Anwiankwanta- Obuasi stretch, Juaben Township roads, Tanoso- Obuasi stretch, Bosomtwe STEM SHS, Kwadaso Creative Arts school and many more.
Speaking to Wontumionline’s Nana Owusu Achiaw after the tour, Hon Ohene Konadu said she is so much impressed with the progress of work on the ongoing projects.
She expressed her happiness about the local content of the projects, where most of the workers are Ghanaian artisans.
Hon. Ohene-Konadu urged the public to shun criticism by some people that the Government has abandoned the Region.
She said the completed and ongoing projects in the Region are evidence that the criticism is the opposite.
