A communications team member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Prince Oppong Hafiz, has rubbished claims by Mr. John Mahama that the Electoral Commission (EC) thumb printed one million ballot papers to favour President Akufo-Addo in the 2020 elections.
Prince Oppong Hafiz wondered if the 2020 flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has a “sperm pumping machine for producing 1 million votes” when he had failed to raise the issue at the Supreme Court during petition hearing.
Speaking on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline, Prince Hafiz stated that it was confusing for Mr. Mahama to keep attributing his loss to the plans of God at one point, then shift it to the EC at another point.

“He first blamed God for his loss, then the NPP; then his own executives for not getting him good party agents. So he has to be serious if he wants political power”, Hafiz noted.
He condemned Mr. Mahama’s statement noting that “such comments undermine our democracy. Did he use a sperm pumping machine to do it? It is only sperm that pumps a million votes at a time.”
In a related development, the EC has called on the Police to investigate claims made by former President John Mahama that the commission thumb printed one million ballot papers to favour President Nana Addo Dankwa in the 2020 presidential election.
At the Let the Citizens Know series held in Accra Monday afternoon (October 25), the EC described the claim by the former President as “false and untrue” and stressed that it was in the public interest for the police to initiate full-scale investigation that would require Mr. Mahama to provide evidence to the claim he made.
