Martin Amindu Is “Mad”…His Motive Was To Help NDC Steal Ghana’s Gold- Abronye (VIDEO)

Former Special Prosecutor Martin Amidu, had an agenda to help the National Democratic Congress (NDC) steal Ghana’s gold and this informed his decision to kick against the Agyapa royalty which was proposed by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2020, the Bono regional Chairman for the NPP has revealed.

Mr. Kwame Baffoe in an interview on Wontumi TV’s Nsempa Fie show stated that the Agyapa royalty deal is meant to protect Ghana’s gold reserve and ensure that the nation profits from the natural resource.

But with a mindset of aiding the NDC steal Ghana’s gold, Kwame Baffoe stated that Martin Amidu stabbed the Akufo-Addo government in the back knowing very well that the misinformation he was spewing was going to hurt the sitting government.

We didn’t want to lose our gold so the company Agyapa was established. Then all of a sudden we had a mad man called Martin Amidu who was acting as Special prosecutor stab the government in the back by spewing lies”, the Bono regional Chairman also known as Abronye said.

Before resigning from his post as Special Prosecutor, Mr. Amidu, described the Agyapa Royalties Transaction deal as the biggest corrupt deal in Ghana since independence.

He went on to attack President Akufo-Addo by describing him as someone who before taking his presidential oath looked like an “innocent flower of anti-corruption but being the mother serpent of corruption”.

But Chairman Abronye who revisited the issue on Wontumi TV also described Martin Amidu as “someone suffering from bipolar and a mad man”.

Accroding to him, the only reason Martin Amidu had issues with the transaction was because Data Bank, a financial institution owned by Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta was handling the deal.

NDC as a party are scared they won’t get to steal Ghana’s gold again so they used Martin Amindu to attack government. This government doesn’t want gold to get missing like it used to happen under John Mahama”, Abronye said.
