Manhyia Palace Visit: Jane Naana Disrespected Asantehene- Nana Oteatuoso
Akwanserehene of Akyem Kwabeng Etwienana Baffour Oteatuoso Kokoben II has said that, Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang disrespected Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace when she and John Mahama visited the Asantehene at the Manhyia Palace.
Nana Oteatuoso made reference to an advice Otumfuo gave to the two where Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang replied that “the ward of every parent is not good.”
The Akyem Royal who was speaking on Wontumi Radio and TV insisted that, the NDC running mate should apologize to the Ashanti King because what she uttered was insult.
“Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang should come out and apologize else we will force her to do so.” He said
He said that, a whole Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah and the Ashanti Regional NPP Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako even bow before talking to Otumfuo.
“Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang must be careful else she will be busy. If she is matured she wouldn’t have talked whiles Otumfuo was speaking.” He said
The vibrant NPP staunch supporter said that, if Jane Naana Opoku is not careful, the utterance she made would be a curse to her.
Nana Oteatuoso stressed that, the NDC running mate has known the difference between school knowledge and house knowledge.”
According to him, due to the response made by Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, the respect that he has for her has been waned.
