The Ashanti regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party has thrown a light shade at former President Mahama describing him as the mysterious man who fathered a child with Tracey Boakye.

Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, the NPP Chairman stated that the National Democratic Congress, under the leadership of John Mahama and Prof. Opoku-Agyemang, are calling for an increase in maternity leave period because “John Mahama has so many children”.

The NPP Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi noted that “he (Mahama) likes giving birth that is why he wants an increase in maternity leave. His last born with Tracey Boakey is 3 months old.”

Running mate to former President Mahama, Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has said the next government under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will increase the maternity leave period from three months to four months.

The running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer in the 2020 elections, said the move is part of the many policies listed in the party’s 2020 manifesto that proves that it cares about Ghanaians.
