The Ashanti regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako is urging Mr. John Mahama not to chicken out debating Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia before the 2024 general elections are held.
Following John Mahama recent declaration that he won’t be able to face Vice President Bawumia in televised debate, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi says it is an act of cowardice.
In an exclusive one-on-one interview with Kwaku Dawuro on Movement TV, Chairman Wontumi told Mr. Mahama that “Ghanaians want to see you debate Bawumia.”
He even urged the former president to come along with his wife, Lordina Mahama to face Samira Bawumia in another debate.
“Bring Lordina and let her debate Samira. Let Nana Opoku Agyemang also debate Napo on education”, Chairman Wontumi called for.
