The District Chief Executive for Sekyere Kumawu, Samuel Addai Agyekum has urged the former president, John Dramani Mahama to be grateful to Ghanaians. He is of the view that, the Mahama led administration was full of lies and incompetency.
Speaking in an interview on Sompa Tv, on 15th February, 2024. He stressed that Ghanaians gave the former president, the latitude to vindicate himself in his term of office but failed to capitalise the chance.
“Mahama has been giving chances enough. He has worn the military outfit, the smock, he has received salutes, ex-gratia , and everything else. He has nothing more to prove.
He also mentioned that John Mahama could not execute policies to develop the nation.
“You could not even provide food for shs students in your own Northern region. You should be grateful to Ghanaians for the chances they gave you.
It is hightime you accepted your fate and destiny ” Mr Agyekum said. He However entreated Ghanaians to give Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia the mandate to lead the country in the coming elections.
“Bawumia represents the gaps in governance, Mahama created. He is with fresh ideas such as digitalization to transform the country. He is the competent one to be the next president” he added.
