The Member of Parliament for Ejisu constituency, Hon. John Kumah, has chided former President John Mahama for leaving behind poor roads.
The MP who doubles as the deputy minister for Finance, stated on Wontumi TV that he often gets confused anytime members of the National Democratic Congress together with Mr. John Mahama take on the government of President Akufo-Addo on poor roads issues.
According to the MP, prior to leaving office, Mr. John Mahama told Ghanaians that he has constructed every road in the country but turns around to slate the current government on issues of road construction.
“Mahama claims he constructed all roads in Ghana but shortly after existing power, he claims all the roads are bad. Does he want to tell us that he took the roads he constructed with him when he left power?” the Ejisu MP wondered.
Under the Obaatanpa program, the government of President Akufo-Addo according to Hon. John Kumah, is trying to raise GHC70 billion from the private sector to construct roads and railways.
