The Ashanti regional Minister, Hon Simon Osei-Mensah, has said former President John Mahama is sick of “short memory disease”.
His comment stems from a statement from the 2024 flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that no one has the right to paste their political poster on equipment to be used for the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP).
Responding to the comment, Hon. Simon Osei-Mensah stated on the Wontumi Morning Show that “Mahama is sick of the short memory disease. He gave student laptops and it was his pictures that were pasted at the back.”
He continued that the statement from Mr. Mahama should be ignored since posters pasted on DRIP equipment can easily be washed off when it rains.
“As for posters when it rains it can fall off but under his regime, there was bus branding and he made the pictures of past presidents look black and white whilst his remained coloured and bigger than them”, he said.
