Former President John Mahama has graduated from petty thievery into an international armed robber, a treasurer for the New Patriotic Party has emphatically said backed with evidence.
Paul Kwabena Yandoh, the Asokwa Constituency Treasurer for the NPP has observed that the cost of projects undertaken by the erstwhile Mahama government, were all bloated leading to a UK court indicting Ghana in an airbus scandal.
The NPP man was commenting on the construction of three interchanges by the Akufo-Addo led government with an amount of $289 million, whereas Mr. Mahama’s government built only one interchange with almost the same amount.
According to him, Mr. Mahama also duped Ghanaians by bloating the cost of Terminal 3 project at Airport when the constructor of the project publicly declared that he wasn’t paid the amount John Mahama’s government put out.
He therefore called on Ghanaians to treat Mr. Mahama like South Africans are now treating Mr. Jacob Zuma stating that the Ghanaian leader has now become an “international armed robber”.
