Mahama has no shame for returning to Oti region for his campaign – Oti regional Chairman, NPP

The Oti regional chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Evans Yaw Dapaah says, the former president, John Dramani Mahama should not have returned to the Oti region for his campaign.

Speaking in an interview on Wontumi TV, on 20th March, 2024, he asserted that, the region was bereft of developmental projects in Mahama’s regime.

Meanwhile, John Dramani Mahama is in Oti region to campaign ahead 2024 elections.

“Mahama should be ashamed for campaigning in Oti region. What at all did he do for the us? When Volta and Oti regions used to be a merged one, we recorded about 60, 000 votes. Even now, Oti region alone records about 135, 000 votes which shows the immense contribution of the region in elections” he stated.

Following the unveiling of the campaign team of the NPP in the Oti region on 19th March, 2024, Mr Dapaah highlighted how this substantial drive will be a gearing factor towards the victory of the NPP in the coming elections.

He However mentioned that, the Akufo Addo led administration has transformed the region significantly compared to that of Mahama.

  1. Liar, almost all developmental projects here were done by the NDC. He should tell us what monumental projects the NPP did here.
At least for the NDC we can mention the krachi midwifery school,E blocks amongst others. What notable thing here has the NPP done in Oti region?
