A popular Ghanaian lawyer has shared the differences between former President John Dramani Mahama and vice President Mahamudu Bawumia which would determine their fate in the 2024 presidential election.
According to lawyer Maurice Ampaw, the personal lifestyle of Mr. Mahama will greatly affect him since his drinking habits and smoking of packets of cigarettes will go against him when placed on the integrity skill.
Lawyer Ampaw also listed the corruption tag which hangs around the neck of the former President as one thing that would forever stay with him.
“Put Bawumia here and Mahama over there, the person the Holy Spirit has settled on is Bawumia. Mahama has deliberately prevented the Holy Spirit from filling him up. If you pick Mahama and Bawumia and find out who has high moral character, the one who doesn’t drink alcohol- the one who drinks is Mahama. The one who flirts with women is Mahama”, he said.
“Mahama has corruption and thievery all around him. The one who loves chilling is Mahama. The one who has several children with different women is Mahama. Bawumia stands tall, he doesn’t drink or smoke cigarettes. He hasn’t produced children with different women. You can’t tag him with corruption”, he added.
In his view, when it comes to choosing a leader with integrity, Bawumia stands tall.
