Mahama Destroyed The Creative Arts Industry With Dumsor- Nicolas Omane Acheampong

“People didn’t have light to watch and listen to music” was one of the sad stories associated to the dumsor created by the erstwhile Mahama government.

Famous gospel musician, Nicolas Omane Acheampong has blamed former President John Mahama for destroying the creative arts industry with dumsor.

Speaking as a guest on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, the renowned Ghanaian musician stated that because of “dumsor, people didn’t invest in the creative arts business”.

For more than three years, he explained that both music and movie producers, redrew all investments they planned making in their field because there was no light to work with.

“People who were known to sell CDs stopped selling and rather sold sleepers”, he sadly shared.

He therefore advised some of the creative arts industry players still supporting Mr. Mahama to accept that the industry went bankrupt due to poor work he did with electricity supply.
