Former Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister Joseph Yammin, who served in the administration of former President John Dramani Mahama, has chastised the chief of Agric Nzema in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti region, Nana Nkansah Boadu Ayeboafo, and the Asante Youth Association (AYA) for failing to fight for the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and Manhyia
According to Joseph Yammin, the Asante Youth Association (AYA) and their leader, Nana Nkansah Boadu Ayeboafo, barked when the NDC was in power, but they are now toothless now that Nana Addo and the NPP are in power.
Former Ashanti Regional Minister Hon Joseph Yammin, speaking to TEIN members at the University of Education Winneba, Mampong campus, which was covered by Pure FM’s Osei Kwadwo, said the Asante Youth Association (AYA) threatened bans on NDC activities in Ashanti Region and later barred President John Dramani Mahama from the region after former Chief of Staff Julius Debrah issued a statement to challenge on the ban.
According to Joseph Yammin, “the chief of Agric Nzema in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti region, Nana Nkansah Boadu Ayeboafo fought NDC and John Dramani Mahama all in the name of Manhyia Palace but he is now silent even though NPP and President Akufo-Addo have disrespected Asanteman, Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu
“It appears that whenever the Asante Youth Association (AYA), Nana Nkansah Boadu Ayeboafo, and others stand up and fight for Manhyia Palace and Otumfour Osei Tutu II, the NDC is in power,” Yammin noted.
“When the NPP is in power, the barking Asante Youth Association (AYA) and Nana Nkansah Boadu Ayeboafo lose their teeth because they can’t fight for Manhyia Palace and Otumfour Osei Tutu II because their party, the NPP, is in power.”
“Social media influencer Twene Jonas disrespected Otumfour Osei Tutu II and Manhyia Palace, but it appears Nana Nkansah Boadu Ayeboafo and AYA executives are sleeping,” Joseph Yammin added. Because the NPP is in power, they have been unable to speak out in defense of Manhyia Palace and Otumfour Osei Tutu II.”
