Veteran reggae/dancehall musician, Emmanuel Andrews Samini, well known in showbiz scenes as Samini has urged Ghana Media Houses to help promote Kelvynboy’s new album dubbed “Black Star” as they are busily promoting Nigeria’s Wizkid “Made In Lagos’ album.
He said that the rate at which Ghana Media Houses promote music of foreigners more than our very own is very displeasing. He urged them to promote our local albums as they promote that of foreigners.
He added that Ghanaians and top media houses must start supporting their own because “we no dey support our own”.

However, it would be recalled that Burnaboy said that Nigerian musicians are really going far because they support their own. Ghana Media focuses on promoting foreign music than our local ones.
