A former Deputy General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP), Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen has called on Ghanaians to say a prayer for the NDC on the division between Ofosu-Ampofo and Asiedu Nketiah on the contest of party’s Chairmanship.
Asiedu Nketiah is battling the incumbent Chairman of the NDC, Ofosu-Ampofo to be Chairman of the party.
According to Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen, division is a huge problem for the NDC.
He told Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi TV Morning Show that it will be scary if any of them wins the Chairmanship position.
He jabbed Asiedu Nketiah that he has served the NDC as the General Secretary for seventeen years and if not characteristics of an African politician what does he want again?
“I’m not whining Asiedu Nketiah down but in my opinion, he hasn’t been fair to the party to move from General Secretary and contest for the Chairmanship,” he ranted.
He said Asiedu Nketiah should have retired by now.
