Let’s moderate celebrations and build a united party for victory in 2024 – JAM 1

The NPP parliamentary candidate elected for Krachi West constituency of the Oti region, Mr. Justice Amankwaa Mensah has charged his followers and supporters to lessen the celebration of his victory and focus on building a united party that can triumph over NDC in the 2024 general elections.

Speaking to newsmen on Saturday, December 2, 2023, after he was declared the winner in the party’s Orphan constituency primaries, Mr. Justice Amankwaa Mensah who obtained 382 votes expressed gratitude to delegates for entrusting him to lead the party as a parliamentary candidate Krachi West constituency in the upcoming general elections and also urged his followers to celebrate with caution to facilitate unity to be able to capture the Krachi West parliamentary seat.

He congratulated his competitor, Mr. Abdulai Taminu Baako who had 60 votes for giving him a tough contest which he said has intensified the practice of democracy in the party and consoled him to work hard because there is more room for improvement for him and that he will need his full support in the upcoming general elections stressing that he is thrilled to obtain about 82% of the total vote cast which signifies the trust delegates have in him as a leader.
