Private Legal Practitioner, Nana Obiri Boahen, has sued the Inspector General of Police, George Akufo-Dampare and nine other police officers including Bernard Asare and Sgt Larbi for contempt of court.
According to a suit copied to wontumionline.com Bernard Asare and Sergeant Larbi have disregarded the Sunyani Circuit Court ruling on a disputed land and have consistently been harassing, intimidating, bullying, arresting and detaining agents of the plaintiff(Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen) on land which the Honourable court has given a ruling.
According to the suit, the two police officers by their actions undermined the decision of the Sunyani circuit court’s ruling on the disputed land in Sunyani.
