Lawyer Maurice Ampaw Receives Death Threats Over His Political Opinions
A Private Legal Practitioner, Maurice Ampaw has revealed that he has over the years received death threats and insults on his political opinions.
He stretched that the death threats and the insults have not frightened him to keep his mouth shut.
Lawyer Ampaw made this disclosure when he appeared on ‘Mmara Ne Abrabo Mu Nsem’ on Wontumi TV after couple of months since the sad demise of his wife, late Evelyn Mawusi.
According to him, his late wife was always apprehensive about his opinions against the political parties especially the NDC.
“I warned my wife to keep calm over the threats and insults because it’s my profession,” Lawyer Ampaw told Obaa Adwoa Aweh Nelson, host of the show.
However, he further disclosed that Evelyn Mawusi was a staunch NDC supporter.
The Legal practitioner indicated that he mocked his wife for exercising her franchise for the NDC every election for not earning anything.
“It was only in 2016 I convinced my wife to vote for the NPP and she heeded to my advice,” he noted.
