Lawyer George Oppong, has compared former President John Mahama to a “decorated monkey” trying to hide its true identity.
His comments stems from the speech the former President recently delivered on ‘Building The Ghana We Want’, a forum held at the University of Professional Studies in Accra.
Addressing the issue on Wontumi TV last Friday, Lawyer Oppong stated that the lecturer by Mr. Mahama didn’t contain messages new to the ears of Ghanaians.
He pointed out that all the things said by Mr. Mahama, were things Ghanaians already knew making his lecturer a pointless one.
“A decorated monkey is still a monkey. Who doesn’t know the situation in Ghana?” he asked.
He demanded to know from Mr. Mahama if as Ghana’s former President, he was able to provide stable electricity for the nation to enjoy like his successor, President Akufo-Addo has done.
He also demanded an answer from the former President by questioning him to tell Ghanaians why he used his office to pay dubious judgment debts whilst in office.
