The decision by Media General-operators of TV3 and Onua fm to hire Captain Smart, has been described as disastrous by Mr. Ernest Owusu Bempah.
Mr. Bempah, who is a former journalist with TV3, stated on Wontumi TV last Friday that many viewers have lost respect for TV3 because of their association with Captain Smart.
“I was one of the key people used to build TV3. The station was one of the best because of the brand they have built and look at the fool (Captain Smart) that they have now brought”, he sadly said.
He blamed TV3 for providing the media space for a ‘kwasia’ to wit fool like Captain Smart, to use to denigrate prominent people in the country.
“‘Kwasia’ like him, but I blame TV3… He was insulting Kojo Dickson and his own boss Kweku Oteng” adding that his presence on Onua Fm has left listeners viewing him as a “comic relief”.
