A stray bullet has killed a 16 year old boy at Aboabo Number 2 in the Asokore Mampong Municipality Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased, Gafaru Kasim was hit and one other seriously injured when some youth after the Eid-ul-Adha prayers were firing into the air as part of the celebration.
Gafaru who was rushed to the Emergency Unit of the Manhyia Government Hospital passed on after bleeding profusely.
The family of the young boy has since collected the body for burial in accordance with Islam.
Meanwhile, the police are on a manhunt for the gun wielding youth who run away after the incident.
