Kotoko’s Mukwala named player of the month for December; Dr Ogum wins coach of the month

Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Steven Mukwala has been named the best player for the month of December in the Ghana Premier League. His remarkable form has been very crucial in getting Kotoko back to performing well and gradually climbing up the league table.

Kotoko sit second in the Ghana Premier League, which is a mark of the awesome performance from their Ugandan striker in the month of December.

Steven Mukwala’s form in December was indeed spectacular, as he banged in six important goals in five matches for Kotoko and also accumulated three man of the match awards in that period.

Steven Mukwala went up against players like Prince Kwabena of the Bibiani Gold Stars, Bright Agyei of the Aduana Stars, and Augustine Okrah of Bechem United.

Inform Mukwala will be hoping to maintain this same momentum moving forward, as he and his team Kotoko will be aiming at winning the Ghana Premier League this season and also reclaiming their rightful place in Africa.

Meanwhile, Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has also been named the Coach of the Month for December in the Ghana Premier League. His impressive tactics and run of form with his team have been very vital in pushing Kotoko back to performing well and climbing up the league table.

Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum made an impressive turnaround after starting the season in a disappointing fashion, leading Kotoko to run riot as they went unbeaten in the month of December, accumulating 13 points out of a possible 15 points.

The gaffer went up against coaches like Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin of Legon Cities and Nurudeen Amadu of Samartex FC to grab the ultimate prize.

Dr.  Ogum and his team will be hoping to maintain their form moving forward, as they aim at winning the Ghana Premier League this season as part of their charge of reclaiming their rightful place in Africa.
