Martin Antwi has reportedly been axed from the Kotoko squad ahead of the new season.
The midfielder was part of the team’s pre-season exercise in Koforidua after Maxwell Konadu named him in a yet to be finalized 30-man squad for the 2020/21 season.
Reports indicate the former WAFA and Inter Allies star have left the team’s camp after being informed that his services will not be needed.
Antwi will hence play no part in the team and now available as a free transfer.
The decision comes after the Porcupine Warriors made a couple more acquisition ahead of the new season.
Kotoko have so far made seven new signings in the transfer window.
Coach Maxwell Konadu is currently working with the player but will name his final 30-man squad to be submitted to Management in the coming days.
