Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng has been described as a “shrewd” character by a former Communication Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Yaw Adomako Baafi.
The outspoken communicator in an interview on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, stated that the position of Special Prosecutor should have been given to Lawyer Akoto Ampaw or Lawyer Philip Addison instead of Mr. Kissi Agyebeng.
According to him, the appointing authority should have settled on other seasoned and reasonable lawyers in the NPP instead of settling on an “apology” like Kissi Agyebong.
“He has a shrewd character like his friend Anas”, Adomako Baafi said as he questioned the competence of the current Special Prosecutor.
“He has been speaking against this government but it is this same government that has elevated him. But since independence there is no government that has fought corruption than this government”, he said.
Adomako Baafi also stung Kissi Agyebeng for being an “academic dwarf” who was using his office to do the bidding of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
