Kennedy Agyapong Calls On NPP To Channel Juicy Adverts To Their Genuine Media Partners

Business Mogul, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has called on the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) to channel juicy adverts to their genuine media counterparts.

He bemoaned that NPP gives juicy adverts to UTV et al who sit on the fence and neglect the genuine media outfits who toil their blood for the party to capture power.

Kennedy Agyapong told Irbard Ibrahim, host of the  Security Tips programme on Wontumi Radio and TV  on Saturday night that when those media outlets who are not genuine media partners to the party testify that a certain political party has a brighter chance of winning the election then they draw closer to them to get juicy adeverts.

“NPP will take their adverts to Oman FM and Net 2 TV for free but if you charge them, they will take it to the other media houses to go and pay,” he said.

He explained that, he passed through risk with his two FM stations and TV for the NPP to survive while in opposition but all have been neglected after they captured power.

“I have survived the party with threats and we are being treated as second fiddle after coming to power,” he revealed.

According to the business mogul, his TV station, Net 2TV couldn’t even pay its workers salaries in the 8 years rule of NDC.

He noted that, the NDC succeeded in collapsing Ash FM but quickly questioned that, why should Ash FM collapse while NPP is in power?

The legislator advised the CEO of Wontumi Communications, Bernard Antwi Boasiako to charge the MMDCE’s who showcase their achievements on his networks at 4pm because his network is not charity home.

Hon. Agyapong emphasized that, NPP will not give him money rather adverts and publicity.

“Charge them else they will sabotage you. Your own NPP will talk trash against you. If you have such high number of views, you should charge them and know that you have come to stay.

According to Hon. Agyapong, he does not want Chairman Wontumi to experience the agonies he passed through after helping the NPP to capture power and neglected him.
