The Kumasi Kejetia Traders Association and Petty Traders have embarked on a demonstration to challenge the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) and Managers of the facility to address their concerns which have been lingering for far too long.

The members want the KMA and the Managers to create additional entrance into the market particularly at the F-Line portion of the First Floor of the market.

Wearing red and black attires, amid drumming and singing, the traders tearfully the lack of entrance to the First Floor of the market prevents people from coming to buy from them.

According to them, they have lost their capital after consistently recording low sales in the market.

“We no more have money because our goods are not patronized because of the lack of assess to the area.All our monies are gone.We want authorities to come to our aid,” they emphasized.
